Carlson Center Wins Local and Regional TOBY Awards
April 28, 2008—Minnetonka, MN—Carlson Real Estate Company’s Carlson Center has earned 2008 TOBY awards on both the local and regional levels in the suburban office park category.
The Office Building of The Year (TOBY) Awards are presented annually on a local, regional, and international basis in multiple individual building and office park categories by the Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA). The TOBY Awards are the most prestigious and comprehensive programs of their kind in the commercial real estate industry—recognizing quality in office buildings and office parks and rewarding excellence in building management. During the competitions, all facets of a building’s operations are thoroughly evaluated. Within the TOBY program buildings and office parks are judged on everything from community involvement to site management.
In order to advance to the regional level, entrants must first win at the local level. And Carlson’s win in the North Central region has qualified it for a spot in the international competition. For the international award, Carlson Center, a master planned, multi-tenant office and industrial park located at the crossroads of I-394 and I-494 in west suburban Minneapolis, will be up against seven other regional winners from across the United States and around the world. Judging for this final phase of the 2008 TOBY competition will take place in May and the winners
